This Privacy Policy explains how PixelLift ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PixelLift Figma plugin and website at pixellift.io.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create a PixelLift account, we collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Password (stored encrypted, never in plain text)
Usage Data
We collect data related to your credit usage (exports performed) to manage your account balance. We do not
collect or store information about the specific assets you export.
Guest Usage
If you use PixelLift without an account, no personal information is collected. A local credit balance is
stored within Figma's built-in client storage on your device only.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To track and manage your export credit balance
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. AI-Powered Rename Feature
PixelLift's optional AI rename feature sends asset thumbnail previews (low-resolution image previews) to the AI provider you select:

Important: Thumbnails are sent directly from your browser using your own API key. PixelLift does not receive, store, or log these thumbnails. No Figma layer names, file names, or other metadata are sent — only the visual thumbnail image. This feature is entirely opt-in and requires you to provide your own API key.

We do not store your AI API keys on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
PixelLift integrates with the following external services:
- Google Gemini — optional AI rename
- OpenAI — optional AI rename
- Anthropic Claude — optional AI rename
- Stripe — payment processing for credit purchases
- Figma Plugin API — the platform through which the plugin operates
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data practices.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@pixellift.io
- Local data stored in Figma client storage is cleared when you uninstall the plugin or sign out
7. Children's Privacy
PixelLift is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PixelLift after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
